Tecnica Diablo Race Pro Ski Boots

Tecnica says: The Diablo Pro are high speed, no frills performance machines. Derived directly from the World Cup Race Boot, these boots offer speed and precision like no other. Sierra says: The Diablo Pro is made for that ligher performance oriented skier looking for a close fitting no frills ski boot. It uses a slightly wider last compared to the true race plug Diablo. That means for most performance skiers there will little or no shell modification done to make the boot fit. This is great all mountain flex for someone in this fit range and roughly 150-180 lbs or so. I'm heavier than that @ 195 but prefer a softer flex and this boot would be plenty for me. I found the boot to fit on the generous side of low volume. It has a 98mm forefoot width. The heel is very snug. Instep height is on the low side of medium. The liner is made like most race liners. The foam is thin and firm. This makes for great support, but it is a creature comfort that many high performance skiers are willing to sacrifice.
