Dennis says: Let's get realistic. Not everyone skis like a pro, nor they will ever do so. Sometimes it's nice to have a boot that is roomy, cushy, and warm. That is what the Tecnica Modo 12 is all about. Let's get that skier up and down the mountain as comfortably as can be. A switch in the back can be open to allow for better walking movement.

I found the Modo 12 to be one of the easiest boots to get in and out of. The hinged cuff allows the skier to keep that cuff out of the way when entering and exiting the boot. The plushy liner does not inhibit the foot when trying to get in and out.

Anyone who has a wider foot should look at the Modo 12. It is the widest boot that is carried on this site.
